What a class looks like

Children and their accompanying adult work together on age-appropriate cooking activities. Younger babies explore food textures and simple mixing, toddlers practice pouring and decorating, while preschoolers tackle more complex recipes with measuring and creative presentation. Each session ends with tasting their creations together.

Curriculum & Progression

Themed units (rotating)

Progressive cooking curriculum tailored to three developmental stages: sensory exploration for babies (12–18m), early kitchen skills for toddlers (18m–2.5y), and independent cooking for preschoolers (2.5–4y). Each session introduces new ingredients and techniques in a fun, parent-supported environment.

Learning Outcomes

Sensory development and fine motor skills, early cooking independence, food ingredient recognition, following instructions, creative expression through food decoration, and parent-child bonding.

About

A series of parent-accompanied cooking classes for children aged 12 months to 4 years. Each child must be accompanied by an adult who is welcome to join in the fun. Younger children explore food textures and sensory cooking experiences, while older preschoolers build independence through measuring, mixing, and creative food decoration. All classes are limited to 8 children on a first-paid-first-served basis.

Before your first class

Arrive 10 minutes early. Wear clothes that can get messy. Let us know of any food allergies at least 24 hours in advance. Check your time slot matches your child's age group.
